When a banker is determined, they sit opposite the croupier with the discard area between. The banker, unless they retire because they wish to or ran out of money to stake, keeps their role until all these cards have been dealt. If no one is willing to stake this amount, the new banker is instead the next player in order, and the bank resets to whatever they wish to stake.
